In this week’s 5 minute update, we focused on three things:

1) The current status of the Israel / PLO peace process
2) The USA and Iranian nuclear issue
3) The overthrow of the Kyrgyzstan government and the economic crisis in Greece

Regarding the current situation with the Israel / PLO peace process,  Obama seems to be taking the side of the PLO and seeking to impose the views of the PLO upon Israel.  In order to put greater political pressure upon Israel to agree to a PLO state with East Jerusalem as its capital, it seems that Obama is threatening Israel with imposing a peace agreement upon them which favors the PLO. Among the behaviors of Obama which causes one to believe that he is taking the side of the PLO includes the following:

1) WND reports that the USA is bargaining on behalf of the Palestinians
2) WND reports that the USA is spying on Israel in East Jerusalem and the West Bank
3) Obama is considering announcing a plan to impose peace upon Israel and the PLO

Meanwhile, Israel said that they will not be pushed into peace.  Furthermore,  in an event possibly made by Israel to signal their displeasure with how the USA is handling the peace process, PM Netanyahu announced that he would not be attending a US Nuclear Summit.

An agreement to divide Jerusalem and establish a PLO state is a tribulation event.

From these events, it should be clear that we are seeing the fulfillment of  Zechariah 12 that Jerusalem will become a “stumbling block” to the nations.  Zechariah 12 is a “day of the Lord” event.  We are in the season which leads to the “day of the Lord”. The battle over Jerusalem is HERE NOW! Get ready for the tribulation!

Regarding Iran, the Obama is indicating that it is inevitable that Iran will produce nuclear weapons.  In a blow to the USA, the government of Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia has been toppled by opposition forces in a blow to the USA war in Afghanistan.  Meanwhile, the country of Greece is getting closer to bankruptcy which could create a great crisis within the European Union.  A link to these articles is as follows:

From a Biblical prophetic perspective, the reason why the God of Israel would allow these events to happen is because it will result in the end of the exile of the house of Jacob and the reunification of the 12 tribes of Israel (Ephraim and Judah).

We will to be “watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem” and we will not rest until the God of Israel makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth (Isaiah 62).

In this week’s 5 minute update, we focused on two things:

2) The current status of the US economy

We also gave an update on the status of Mark Pitrone and his tree accident which nearly killed him. Your prayers have been heard and Mark is having a miracle recovery. The doctors were skeptical that Mark would survive his first night in the hospital because of the head injuries that he suffered from the tree accident. He had to have immediate surgery on his brain to alleviate internal bleeding. He is now out of ICU and has improved so much that he is being moved to a Rehab center outside of the hospital.  Mark and his family need your financial support while he is recovering.

1) Proposing a 4 month building freeze in East Jerusalem in exchange for direct talks with the PLO.
2) WND reports that Obama encouraged Palestinian ‘resistance’ in East Jerualem.
3) PA security officials are meeting with US security officials to plan how to tranfer land that is now designated at Areas B an C (under Israel control) to Area A (under PLO control).

The European Union is showing great willingness to work with the USA to put greater political pressure upon Israel than even the USA.  As a result of all of this, former Jewish mayor of NYC Ed Koch is expressing outrage at the Obama administration for its treatment of Israel over the East Jerusalem issue and is withholding his support for Obama.

Rather than speaking against the US bias against Israel and toward the PLO, Israel had decided to speak friendly diplomatic words toward the USA. Israel Defense Minister Ehud Barak said that Israel will decide issues of national importance while also stating that there is a need to work with the US and the PLO to achieve a peace agreement.  Meanwhile, leaders within Ehud Barak’s political party (Labor) is anxiously hoping for an agreement to establish a PLO state with East Jerusalem as its capital by calling for the main opposition party (Kadima who supports a PLO state with East Jerualem as its capital) to join a coalition government with Likud and Labor seeking to remove Israel Beiteinu, United Torah Judaism and Shas.  Seeing how the USA is favoring the PLO, Palestinian FM Salam Fayyad believes that there will be a PLO state in 2011.

Regarding the US economy, the US government is setting conditions upon small banks to make it very difficult for them to make loans to established small business with good credit ratings.  With all the economic problems within the USA and with a majority of US citizens against health care reform, Obama has recorded his lowest approval rating since taking office.

When the USA divides the land of Israel (Joel 3:2) and the city of Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:2), it will result in judgment from the God of Israel upon the USA of a collapse in the US dollar.

When the US dollar collapses, this would be a tribulation event. It will result in the establishment of one world government and one world currency.
